Anzac

 Anzac Activity
Hello bloggers. today I am Blogging about a Anzac activity that we did at school.

Entering 'no mans land'
No mans land was mad out of a lot and a lot of strings, but we were not allowed to go inside the class because that was where is was made. Since it was raining outside the class they had no choice but to let us in the class. After they let us in, they told us what it was all about. We had our art books, a pencil and a pen with us. After that we entered no mans land class by class even though there were three classes.

First we started off by choosing a space between Waitemata and Hauraki which were the two classes that we spread around in. When that was finished, we did a basic facts math sheet and we had to do it under the strings with the sound of gunfire. When the time was up, I looked at my sheet and I'd say I did pretty well.

NZ Anzac Maths
For our NZ Maths, we had a sheet between two or three since me and Daiki (my friend) worked together. We had to figure out how long they fought in each war.

After that we had our fruit break and had our excercise under the strings. after eating our fruit under strings we had our excercise which was holding a plank for fifteen seconds and push ups on our knees which was what I only remember.

After having morning tea we got back inside trenches and wrote a letter to our parents as if we were actually at war. We also made a poem. you can see both of these if you press on this link.

While some people were pictodrawing, I went swimming even though it was raining.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post and I hope you get to do this at your school too. blog you later.
